Payment and Reimbursement
The Integrative Health Center of Chapel Hill is home to many independent providers. The medical doctors practicing at the Center anticipate being able to accept Blue Cross/Blue Shield in late fall 2008. They currently accept Medicare. You need only pay your co-payment amount, if any. If you are covered by an insurance company other than Blue Cross/Blue Shield, you must pay for your visit at time of service, but as a courtesy, we will file your insurance for direct reimbursement to you.
Some of the psychotherapists work with insurance plans; others do not. Please check with your psychotherapist if you have questions.
Other Services at the Center:
Depending on your particular health insurance plan, other services offered through the Center, such as medical nutrition consultations , acupuncture, or massage, may or may not be covered. Please contact your plan administrator to know what to expect. Payment is required at time of service and you will be given a service receipt for your records or to file with your insurance company.
Integrative Health Center of Chapel Hill accepts cash, checks, Visa, Mastercard, and Discover. Checks are very much appreciated, as they help keep our processing costs down.
