Creative Journaling:
Moving Through Obstacles and Transitions
Saturday, October 11, 2008
1:00-4:00 pm
Fees: $30, minimum 5 participants
When we experience challenges or transitions in our lives, it is easy to get frustrated, give up, and leave our dreams behind. When we are stressed, often we can’t sleep, concentrate, or change eating and lifestyle patterns. Even positive transitions can leave us feeling overwhelmed or confused. Our bodies absorb our emotions, which can lead to health and wellness problems.
Whether it’s working through a life change or just finding our path to get through the day, creative journaling can lift our spirits, providing space to explore our connection to the world around us. Journaling can be a daily diary, but it doesn’t have to be. There are many types of journals that allow for us to explore the different patterns, connections and relationships in our lives. Using writing prompts and techniques, this workshop explores the benefits of using a journal to navigate the obstacles and transitions we face in our daily lives.
