Helen Wang, PhD, LAc studied both Western and Traditional Chinese Medicine at the Beijing University of Traditional Chinese Medicine and received the equivalent of an MD in 1994. In 2002 Dr. Wang received a PhD in medical oncology from Kanazawa University, Japan.

Dr. Wang began practicing medicine, acupuncture, and Chinese herbal medicine in a large community hospital in Shenzhen, China in 1994. After moving to North Carolina in 2003, she subsequently earned a US certification of acupuncture (NCCAOM) and is licensed to practice acupuncture and Oriental Medicine in North Carolina.

Acupuncture and Herbal Treatments

Dr. Wang offers treatments for allergies, cancer care, chronic pain and a wide range of other conditions. Her special interests are in women's health, endrocrine disorders and cancer care. She brings a gentle, attentive, caring bedside manner to her practice. Dr. Wang believes that Traditional Chinese Medicine offers mind/body balance and long term health benefits.

Appointment Schedule:
Mondays: 1 pm - 5:30pm
Wednesdays: 2 pm - 7 pm
Thursdays: 2 pm - 5 pm
Saturdays: 8:30 am - 2 pm

Appointment Fees

1st appointment: $120 (evaluation & treatment)
Follow-up appointments: $70

Note: Acupuncture at the Center is fee for service only with payment due at the time of the appointment. A receipt for treatment is provided.
