The Center’s primary care/family medicine doctor is
Raghu Ballal, MD, PhD
Dr. Ballal brings both a traditional and an integrative approach to primary care, drawing on the expertise of the other cross-disciplinary specialists at the Center when needed, and bringing other therapeutic specialists into a patient’s care program easily. Dr. Ballal is committed to:
1. Providing excellent medical care
2. Charging lower, flat-fee rates for doctor visits
3. Serving Medicare patients
4. Serving the traditionally insured, privately insured, uninsured, and the underinsured, all of whom benefit from the practice’s comprehensive, whole-person approach.
Currently, Dr. Ballal is not on any insurance panels other than Medicare though he plans to be a on the Blue Cross Blue Shield panel by the fall. In the meantime, patients need to pay at the time of their visit. Patient visits are coded so the patients can file their own insurance claims.
