Elizabeth Branch is a North Carolina licensed Massage and Bodywork Therapist with over ten years' experience. The focused intention of her work is to support and cultivate the innate health inherent in each person. Her work is a blend of therapeutic touch, stretching, movement, food awareness and thought and speech awareness. A session with Elizabeth can range from a relaxing Swedish massage all the way to the focus on affirmation as a vehicle to transform one's experience in the world. Often, a single session is a beautiful tapestry woven of these varied threads.

Massage Therapies

Therapeutic Massage: Elizabeth will use a number of different massage techniques for achieving stress reduction, relaxation, and pain relief. Techniques may include deep tissue massage, Swedish massage and trigger point therapy.
Myofascial Massage (Deep Tissue Massage): A deeper, more specific massage to help release muscle holding and relieve discomfort.
Swedish Massage: Relieves stress, relaxes muscle tissue and improves blood and lymph circulation. Strokes include kneading, gliding, and brisk tapping strokes applied to superficial and deeper muscle tissues. Pressure is light to medium. Often joint mobilization, assisted stretching, and movement is indicated in Swedish massage.
Manual Triggerpoint Therapy: Trigger points are painful concentrations of energy held in the muscles or tendons. They often refer pain to other parts of the body and can limit movement, and range of motion. Headache, neck and back pain are often caused by trigger points. Using deep pressure, movement and energy balancing, trigger points are gradually released.
Polarity Therapy: A holistic approach to achieving health and balance which includes food awareness, movement, lifestyle, attitudes and energetic touch. This gentle yet powerful work uses the natural reflexes of the body to balance and heal the body, mind and emotions. It is highly effective for reducing stress and pain, bringing relief from tense muscles, increasing vitality in the organs and glands and bringing greater ease and peace of mind.

Appointment Fees

Massage work is fee-for-service only. Patients need to pay in full at the time of treatment. Patients can, however, receive a treatment receipt that they can submit to their insurance carrier if they have a plan that covers massage. Any reimbursement transactions are between the patient and insurance carrier.

90 minute appointment: $120
