Insurance Coverage and Cash Payments
Dr. Coeytaux is in-network with Blue Cross Blue Shield, Duke Basic & Select and Medicare. A medical consult is considered a medical visit with a primary care practitioner. Patients with BCBS or Duke Basic or Select can expect to pay a primary care co-pay after meeting their annual deductible. If you are concerned about medical reimbursement, contact your insurance carrier to learn the specifics of your plan. Patients with other insurance plans are welcome. You will need to pay in full for the doctor visit at the time of service. However, we will submit a request for reimbursement to your insurance plan as a courtesy. Any out-of-network reimbursement due to you should be sent directly to you from your insurance company. Any labs done at the Center are billed through your insurance plan. Patients with no insurance should expect their medical visit to cost between $150-$200 depending on the complexity of the visit and needed follow-up work. Labs for cash payers are additional fees.
