Integrative Psychotherapy

Janice Geller, MA, LPC #4125, LMBT, BC-DMT

Integrative Psychotherapy is a therapeutic and educational approach to psychological and physical health. Janice is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC, License # 4125), with 25 years experience providing Psychotherapy, Mindfulness Stress Reduction and Body Awareness sessions to individuals, couples, families and groups.

Integrative Psychotherapy allows you to notice that subtle changes occur when you bring an accepting and compassionate awareness to ordinary experiences. This practice encourages one to learn to pause, relax and be open to the moment-to-moment changes in the mind and body. This process can foster new perspectives on thoughts ands feelings; find pathways out of pain, and lead to a more balanced and fulfilling life. Integrative Psychotherapy is a Mindfulness Cognitive and Behavioral Therapeutic approach which may include breathing and meditation practices, the development of body awareness, and the experience of therapeutic touch, depending on your needs. Sessions provide a safe and confidential setting in which to share your challenges with a caring, well-trained professional who can help you process your experiences in healthy, nurturing ways. Janice teaches at Duke University, Body-Mind Centering programs in North Carolina and France, and has taught at the University of North Carolina, Smith College, University of California-Hayward, Esalen Institute, Omega Institute, and in Europe.
